This 1980 Porsche 911SC coupe has been backdated to represent a 1969 911S style.  The backdate has been retrofitted using all steel components. The chassis has a complete bare tub respray in Glassier blue ( very singular to Mexico Blue)  This car has been fitted with a Completely rebuilt and Ceramic coated 1984 Carrera 3.2 DME engine with 915 5 speed Limited slip transmission.  Coil over suspension and big 4 piston brakes.  A complete bespoke retro backdated  interior in German red vinyl  and complete backdated dash and gauges. New 15x6 deep and 15x7R deep RSR style fuchs with new Toyo R-1 tires .This car is completely California Compliant and will be delivered with a Smog Certification upon  conclusion of  auction.  This is a personal sale with a clean California title in the owner's name in hand.

The backdating process for this 911 was completed using Brand new PCNA front fenders and front latch panel.  The 1972 style 911S bumper is brand new steel from Restoration Design.  The rear flares are cut outs from a 1969-1977.  The rear Bumpers are original  undamaged used 1969-1973.  A used all steel  front hood was used .  All of the 911S Appearance group trim and rubber were all installed new.  The deck lid was modified from the original car to 1969 specifications.  This car has a welded steel non-sunroof top.  The car is painted in Glacier blue paint code 326.  

The totally bespoke retro-styled Water-line style interior with black upper and red central with charcoal Gray wool carpets.  The custom black fiberglass seats are offered in red German vinyl covering with tan contrasting thread on a late 1960’s style Recaro Sport purpose seats with adjustable headrests.  The matching door panels are a one off custom design with contrasting  door pulls.  There is a custom G-body style rear seat delete cover in matching interior materials and aluminum accents.  The rear parcel tray is 2 tone waterline split.  The rear panel houses Porsche retractable seat belts.  The dash is brand new PCNA and in perfect condition. The carpets are wool Haargain and bound in cloth binding with contrasting tan thread.  There are matching custom front bonnet carpets (see gallery)

The interior custom design continues with a car color paint intermediate dash section.  The  901 green style gauges were sourced from North Hollywood Speedometer.  The matching interior materials are inserted in aluminum intermediate dash panels.  The custom radio delete is aluminum surround with 356 Orange bar hood crest.  Same as the matching hug caps on the wheels  The wood 901 style steering wheel is 380mm with a leather hockey puck horn button.  There is a New PCNA red key in the early style ignition.  This key is fitted to Ignition/ Doors/ Glove box/and Hood lock in a red leather squeeze pouch.

The 3.2 powerplant is from a 1984 Carrera.  The entire engine has been cleaned and ceramic coated.  The case / chain boxes / cam towers / and transmission case have all been coated with MAHLE piston coat high temperature ceramic coating.(rated at 1400 degree)  All of the studs and miscellaneous parts coated with glassier black ceramic coating with new zinc hardware throughout the rebuild. 

The engine internals have been completely static and dynamically balanced.  The std/std crankshaft has been polished and balanced.  The stock 3.2 rods have been resized/rebushed/shot peened/balanced with new ARP rod bolts.  There are brand new J&E pistons 10.5 :1 compression ratio with Mahle 95mm Nicasil cylinders.  The heads are completely rebuilt with new valve guides/ New PCNA valve springs / 3 angle valve job / intake and exhaust ports completely smoothed out.  OEM 964 RS camshafts were used with rebushed and polished rocker shafts.  AASCO lightweight DME flywheel with a brand new Aluminum FS SACHS sport clutch.  There are 6 brand new fuel injectors/ 2 new DME reference sensors/ and a new head temp sensor.  This engine is completely compliant with California Emissions.  Factory Catalytic Converter with part numbers as well as emission decals in place with correct expansion tank /charcoal canister and new lines. If sold in California a Smog Certificate will provided with delivery

The underside shows a Completely rebuilt  915 transmission with ceramic coated case.  The transmission has all new syncros / selectors and dogs are in perfect condition.  There is a limited slip differential and 201 Swepco gear oil.  The Stainless steel oil tank is unpainted / front oil lines in black ceramic with factory 930 front cooler with stone guard.  All flexible oil lines are replaced with Coline new parts.  The rear trailing arms are Ceramic coated Glassier black.  There is a RSR style coil over shock system.  There are new Bilstein RSR valved struts at all 4 corners.  There are chassis reinforcements on rear shock towers and a welded in RSR front shock brace.   There are adjustable RSR style front and rear sway bars.  The brake system is upgraded to Big 4 piston calipers front and rear with drilled new brake rotors.  There is a RSR style dual master cylinder pedal assembly with brake bias and RSR style reservoirs
